Summary:

SourcingHaus was engaged a Multilateral Development Bank to provide technical advisory services to the Indonesian Public Procurement Agency to support the country’s transition toward more sustainable, transparent, and digitally enabled procurement systems. The engagement focused on three strategic outputs: improving construction tendering practices, developing a national SPP roadmap, and advancing the integration of sustainability into the national e-catalogue system.

The Challenge:

Indonesia’s procurement system is undergoing a strategic shift toward sustainability and digital transformation. As the national agency responsible for public procurement oversight, public procurement plays a central role in aligning national practices with global sustainability objectives and SDG 12.7 targets.

What We Did:

SourcingHaus supported the design and implementation of a multi-component technical advisory package focused on on Construction Procurement Reform, E-Catalogue Enhancement Strategy, and development of a Sustainable Procurement Roadmap.

The Impact:

  • Strengthened alignment between national procurement reforms and global benchmarks for sustainability frameworks
