In this role, Mariia pioneered the integration of ESG principles, introduced greenhouse gas (GHG) accounting, and embedded sustainability reporting into core business functions.
Since joining SourcingHaus in 2023, Mariia has played a central role in delivering consulting projects focused on Scope 3 emissions measurement, sustainable procurement strategy, and supply chain decarbonization. Her work spans complex global supply chains and multilateral institutions, applying international standards such as the GHG Protocol, ISO 14064, and PCAF.

Mariia has served as the CEO of the Association NVFCS, the only accredited body for PEFC forest certification in her home region (known in the U.S. as the Sustainable Forestry Initiative). She designed and implemented the full certification system from the ground up, aligning it with ISO, IAF, and FAO frameworks. Her leadership in this space successfully brought together government entities, businesses, NGOs, scientists, and workers’ and women’s organizations under a robust stakeholder engagement process.
Mariia is also a recognized Member of the PEFC International Pool of Experts, confirming her eligibility as a certified trainer in sustainable supply chain development for the global timber industry. She brings both operational acumen and strategic foresight to her work, bridging environmental compliance with practical business implementation.
